<p><strong>Meet The Yoga Instructor</strong><br />
If you can, meet the yoga instructor before you start class to let them know any thing that&#8217;s important.  For example, your fitness level or any back pain you might have.  When you start taking yoga class, ask the instructor if you are doing the poses right.  Ask for any recommendations to relaxing music or books as well.</p>
<p><strong>Focus On Your Breathing</strong><br />
This is such a huge component to yoga that it will take some time to really work on your breathing technique.  Your instructor will help you but know that breathing while doing poses will take practice.</p>
<p><strong>Prepare Before Class Begins</strong><br />
Make sure that before you go to class you avoid eating a heavy meal.  As well, you may want to pack an extra towel to wipe up any sweat.  Bring your <a href="http://yogasuzy.com/tips-to-choosing-your-yoga-mat/">yoga mat</a> and a water bottle.  If you do not have a yoga mat the class will provide one, but they are usually worn out and has, by that time, lost it&#8217;s springiness.
